2013 May 3rd

Wow, now I really fell in. I knew I had a place that wasn't tumblr that I had been using. I shout out to Kelly W https://plus.google.com/u/0/102035781393888589156 (Since I don't know how to actually link people on here. Sorry. Well I had gotten the job drawing caricatures at the local zoo. It was summer only the first year, and then summer and Christmas season in 11 and 12. I found out a couple of months ago though that the zoo did not renew with the company I work for, so that means my job went poof. I refuse to work for the zoo without a filter for artists, it actually doesn't make sense to make it an hourly job, because we can't guarantee people will be in those chair every hour on the hour. So, I am back down to one seasonal job, Halloweekends. This year will be my 5th year in a row I've worked there. Looking forward to it as usual, though I don't want to skip summer, even if it's uncomfortable, I have a few conventions coming up and a lot of time for me to work on things. Jan I got a year older. But I also got on a schedule for art. Once that happened I found that I could really get things done, hammering out often 2-3 pieces a day. I had one of the best birthdays I've had in years. It was very nice. But this is also about the time that my best friend had to deal with some family troubles, I haven't gotten to speak to them much since then. I miss them a lot. Feb I hit up Bashcon for a day, it was nice to see a bunch of friends and vendors (who are also friends or acquaintances). I had to draw off some whole sale buttons I made for my friend to sell. I hope that he'll be contacting me again soon for more. Though, actually hoping in June. Also saw an Ex of mine, I said hello, not much else. I still...have issues with him. I think I probably always will, due to the circumstances. Mar I was crunching down harder to get my comic King of the Web done and also getting ready for my first selling convention of the year. April I attended Shutocon, it was a blast, it was so nice to be around friends most of the time, though it made it harder to leave, at least for me. Sales were also up from last year. Yay~ Though I think I had pushed myself to the limit as right after the con I broke down sick for two weeks. I even tried to continue to work through it, that brought on a fever one of the days. I should have rested a lot more. But art...it is my passion most of the time. Now I'm waiting for the comic to be printed. I'll have two for Animazement to sell. Hopefully, I'll have something closer to 10 or so for Colossalcon. We'll just have to wait and see. It's really nice to actually feel like things are coming together. I hope I can prove it to everyone that I can make it...but more importantly myself.

2010: April 14th

Goodness, I got lost again. Been very busy with training for a possible job, not officially hired yet, so doing my best to be good enough that they want me.

Saw two more movies on sunday Night Watch and the sequel Day Watch (Unrated)

Excellent, excellent movies! If you like vampires, and neat ideas, definitely a good look at. I watched them both in the original Russian with the sub, but I really like being able to listen to the original language, I feel many things anime as well as tv and movies lose something when they are translated for one language to another.

I have another one I'm borrowing, word on that in the next day or so when I get around to watching it.
Ghost Hunters: Season Five, Part One will be on tonight, sort of looking forward to that as well as Mythbusters: Collection 1, you'd think after awhile I'd be sick of some of these shows. Oh! I also started watching Pilot on comedy central, it's a bit of a trainwreck, but I said the same thing about Superjail!: Season One when I started watching that and both I find myself enjoying in a sort of childlike fascination. XD;;;

Anyways, sorry I don't have more. Need to get back to working on the comic. Jya~

2010: Mar 28th

Well I broke down and watched Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (Single Disc), it was exactly what I expected of a movie about 20 years too late. The good part of the movie was the character interaction and it was underplayed by everything else.

Also watched Disturbia (Widescreen Edition) again, that movie is starting to grow on me.

Did my caricature test today, we'll see how that goes soon.

2010: Mar 26th

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Sherlock Holmes is coming out on DVD. I so want to get this movie. I enjoyed it greatly.

Mobile Suit Gundam Wing - Complete Collection 1 I drew Zechs today, it was a long, over due commission for my friend Lilly-chan. I'm actually pretty pleased how it came out.

Heroes - Season Three Next to do is Adam aka Kensei, I'm nervous about it, I don't draw real people all that much. We'll see how it goes.

I had Japanese curry tonight, oh it was so tasty, I might get some later. *chuckles* Also Caprica is on tonight, I actually find myself liking this show which is odd. Anyways, nothing new at the moment, have a good one.

2010: Mar 25th

Long time no see people. Sorry I've been MIA, this year has been...well lots of injury. I'll leave it at that.

I want to talk about some new to me movies I saw this past Sunday, Fido this one I think was my fave. Wow that's not a bad price for it. It has the wonderful Billy Connelly in it. Perfume - The Story Of A Murderer This movie was also really good, I recommend. Shock Waves This one was amusing, zombie nazis. And Snatch (Widescreen Edition) this one which was better than I thought it was going to be.

I went to Bashcon about a month ago and actually did rather well at that. It was a nice surprise and I hope next year is even better. I actually had fans of my comic http://kingoftheweb.kuroitenshi.com I haven't been able to get back to it for over 2 months because I sprained my wrist horrible when I was sick for the 2nd time with the stomach flu. I intend to in the next week or two to get going on it. My goal is to still get the first book out this year.

I also started doing a rent me, time for art for money. I'm hoping to use it as another option to get a more steady income.

2009: Dec 3rd

Long time no see. I've had a few cons and also worked at Cedar Point's Halloweekends for nearly two months. That was nice. But the good news, I got my first paying Art Project, not a commission...well yes a commission, but not A, it's like over 50 pieces. I'm very very excited about this and I can't wait to get started on it.

I've also been entering a few contests on dA and working on the comic, it's finally back up to two times a week which is keeping me pretty busy, in a good way mind you. I know the ends will justify the means, I'd love to have a book out for it by mid next year. Though being near 60 strips I think I have to call myself officially a webcomic artist.

Anyways, though I have lots to say I really don't know where to start. Carry on.

2009: Sept 13th

This will be sort of short since I have a lot to do today. But I do have a lot to talk about and hopefully will be able to post up some convention stuff later this week. The big thing I need to worry about is space on my photobucket, so I might have to move some things around or be posting up a lot more somewhere else like my dA. I changed my photo on here as well as on dA. I start my seasonal job this thrus, though I also got paid for training which is not bad. I definitely need all the hours I can get.

Also still working on art and selling things. I need to make another notepad and get all of that stuff out plus I sold a bunch of my SM cards, very pleased about that. Oh also I updated some of the pages http://kuroitenshi.com/collections/collectionsm.html which a few were awhile coming. I hope to finish the rest of the pages sometime next week since this week is already extremely busy.

Hopefully I'll get into updating this some more and maybe get some interest in things. Have a nice day, it certainly is here.
